What does it take to start a war?
There have been hundreds of books written over the years trying to understand why wars start. A friend of mine studied the beginnings of World War I as a hobby and could spend hours explaining the intricacies of how the actions of each government played against each other. In the end, he pointed to me and said, “Trains!” Of course I must have looked mystified, so he went on to explain. “Trains were the only way you could transport large amounts of equipment, weapons and men across the continent. Even then the effort was monumental, so preplanning and prepositioning was necessary. As the politics played out, the military began the obvious effort of moving troops into position, not to fight so much as to be ready to fight. One side moved troops; the other responded and moved more troops. In the end, the warring parties managed to get enough men facing off against each other that it didn’t take much more than a spark to start the fire.
Now I’m sure there are a million different theories as to why wars start, many obvious, and many not so obvious-like trains. I am also sure it takes more than just one incident, like pillars supporting a building. Today, in Iran, I believe we are seeing one of those pillars being built.

The second pillar was the election of Obama as President. Regardless of what his fans say, Obama is going to be a horrible foreign policy President. He has already signaled he will not fight the Iranian desire to possess nuclear weapons. Sure, he said he’d fight to separate their nuclear power from weapons development, but only a fool would believe he or America has the will for it.
The third pillar is the lack of desire by the U.N. or any of Iran’s allies to step in and prevent their procurement of weapons.
The last pillar are the Israelis. Actually a more accurate description of them is that they are the spark. If given no other choice than that of survival, the Israelis will find a way to destroy the Iranian leadership. The more isolated they feel, as Obama as also signaled, the harder they will strike. Make no mistake, given the opportunity; Ahmadinejad will attack Israel with nukes. It is what he believes in, what he wants politically and what other around him want.
Can the war be stopped? If the Iranians themselves overthrow the leadership they will stop the coming holocaust. If they do not, many, many people will suffer.

Please, Israel has options! (I also noticed, today, that North Korea opted out of letting a nuke fly. I guess when the oxygen gets sucked out of news cycles, why waste a nuke?)
Meanwhile, the timing’s worked for Bibi. His speech is done. And, the best Obama could do was say “That’s what he wanted.” If he thinks he can build o this, he’s just incopetent. Plus, there are a lot of troubles on his plate! It’s the economy, stupid. And, it’s the people who voted for him that are getting disappointed. Everybody else probably thought he’d be a dud.
Today, the german’s called in their iranian ambassador. They want ANSWERS! They think this election has been stolen. And, the germans are using the diplomatic arsenal to “stick a finger in Obama’s eye.” (Inside the White House there is an awareness, because they know how to poll.)
When germany went on-line to Iran, asking for answers, you can see more than one perfect storm coalescing, ahead. Believe it or not.
Obama has managed to hurt his own diplomatic channels. That’s why I’m pointing you to germany. And, telling you “to just watch.”
The saud’s? They are terrified of iran with a nuke! (I’d even think some in our pentagon have weighed what happens when iran is capable of lobbing a few.) Just as Israel is capable of doing “work accidents” … that can occur. And, can also blow ships out of the water. No Mr. Nice Guy; with horns; asking you to “pull over so they can board.” America blew her options. The work ahead will run silent. And, run deep.
