As Biden warned, “they” would challenge Obama at the first chance they had. Again, Biden swerved into the truth.
North Korea is in hyper-drive pushing Obama to test his limits. Now remember, before Bush there was Clinton, and with Clinton came the worst Secretary of State in generations- Madeline Albright. When the Clintons were finished the status of North Korea was in such disarray that nobody, including Bush, could straighten it out. At least instead of placating the NK’s, Bush put the hammer on them by calling them what they were, evil.
Now here we are again, with the moral equivalence based diplomacy of Obama and his crew (including Hillary) and North Korea is taking advantage.
But here’s the kicker, in the rush to strip money from defense, Obama ordered Gates to limit and “restructure the program” concerning missile interceptors. The same interceptors that now Gates is deploying to Hawaii on the chance that NK loses its collective mind and shoots a ballistic missile at us. So let me get this straight, the program every Democrat criticized since Reagan, which is being gutted by Obama so he can use the money for his pet projects, is now being deployed to prevent a missile attack against one of our states?? Now our intelligence departments assure us the missile only has a range of 4000 miles, five hundred miles short of Hawaii. Assuming the report is accurate.
Here is something else you might want to think about, the distance between Anchorage and Pyongyang is about 3700 miles, well within the missile’s range. Who says they’ll strike where they said? In addition, our intelligence estimates are ALWAYS off!

NK can’t damage us beyond a few cities, but the fallout from the attack will be beyond radiation. 9/11 took out a piece of our economy from the shock of the attack. And that was three planes into three buildings! Even a moderate explosion in Alaska or California will paralyze our economy. What does that mean? No bottled water deliveries for the yuppies among us, electric grid issues, no food deliveries, no interstate transportation (or greatly restricted movement) for a while. Forget Wall Street, it will melt down and wet itself like a puppy.
But don’t fear, if by some horrible happenstance NK does shoot a missile at Hawaii, or Alaska, and hits something; be assured within minutes, Obama will somehow blame Bush. Just wait for it.
