I picked this up off of the Ace of Spades website.  I didn’t know Varney was classically trained, but it makes sense.  Often the best comics are those who studied the inner character of man.  Regardless, I too miss “Ernest”.  Who wouldn’t?  Until Biden made VP, there was a vacuum in the arena of jesters [...]

Did Crowley think this was going to work out well, being surrounded by Gates, Obama, and Biden?  Biden?  He sat down with two men who believe white cops are racists (and still do) and a man best known for being the comic relief in the movie?  Biden is Jerry Lewis to Obama’s cool Dean Martin.  [...]

Overall, I like Christopher Hitchens, if nothing else he is amusingly bright in his opinions. Not always right, but bright. In his latest column he takes on the Gates/Crowley/Obama dust up. Hitchens makes the point that perhaps Gates erred when he used race as the issue, rather than constitutional rights violations. [...]

Dowd’s take is that Hillary is a winner and Palin is a loser. This is based on how confident they act in their current roles. Through the Dowd’s witch glasses tinted red with hatred and revenge, I guess Palin does look like a loser. But let’s take time to examine this for [...]

The author of this piece from the Red State.  It is well done and worth reading as the author tells us how he feels about the end of life issue.  He calls it the “liberal solution” ( not unlike Hitler’s final solution).   Will it be that bad?  Understand, it will take years to get there, [...]

I was able to persuade my dad to let me scan his old photographs from his hunting days.  The earliest he had were around 1955.  They are a wonderful window into the history of hunting in Florida.  More will come in the future.  Please take time to visit.  Especially if you like hunting.

Absolutely on point.  Gates was arrested because he couldn’t keep his elitist mouth shut, even after being warned by the common man twice.  Bill Cosby and Colin Powell had it right.  When dealing with the police.  Do your best not to piss them off.

It is an “he’s an idiot” moment. (http://truthandcommonsense.com/2009/06/23/he%e2%80%99s-an-idiot/)
Gitmo is a detention facility, not murder den like what Daniel Pearl experienced. We are bending over backwards to allow those detained to continue their faith, their diet and their personal habits (like not bathing). The Taliban either uses their prisoners for propaganda or [...]

“They were elected on the promise of delivering prosperity to Argentina, but statistics showing a stunning economic turnaround have come with a catch.
New figures show that since Nestor and Cristina Kirchner came to power in 2003, they have presided over a remarkable sixfold increase in their own wealth.
The couple have racked up a fortune through [...]

Dowd’s (head witch in waiting) first line in her newest column says a ton, “Being obnoxious isn’t a crime.”   Thank God for that!  If it were, she’d be on her second life sentence!
She depends on former NYPD police commander, John Timoney, to make the ONLY valid point in her entire obnoxious column.  He said, and [...]
