Graham irritates me.  I’m sure he’s a nice guy who lives alone surviving off a Coke Zeros and Burger King.  But his policies, his theories are just far too left for me to stomach.   In this piece he suddenly sees the writing on the wall and hedges on global warming.

“Graham was the only Republican on the Senate Judiciary Committee to vote in favor of confirming Sonia Sotomayor, Obama’s first Supreme Court nominee. He had grilled the judge about her temperament and disagreed sharply with many of her rulings, but in the end he said he couldn’t deny that she was qualified for the job. Most Republicans claim global warming is not an urgent threat. Hedging, Graham says he’s not sure, but thinks either way it’s common sense that pollution is a problem. He’s spent months working with Democrat John Kerry to find a way to reduce carbon emissions that both parties can live with. On immigration, Graham talks tough about securing the border to keep illegals out, but supports limited amnesty for those already here. It would be impossible, he says, to round up and deport 12 million people.”

Huh, you think he can actually read and is catching up on the intense meltdown of the science behind “global warming”?   Suddenly, Mr. Cap and Trade is not sure??  He’s a lawyer, and lawyer lie to get their way. It is in their blood.  He’s also been in D.C. waaaay too long and THAT makes him suspect.  Truth is, the man is just another lefty Republican who really thinks getting an article in Newsweek means something.  “Gee ma, look I’m in the papers!”  Newsweek goes a long way to put a more right leaning light on Graham.  Probably to make him look a little better in the eyes of conservatives.  But like I was taught on my first day of police work.  “Watch the hands.”  Watch what they do, not what they say.  Graham says stupid enough things as it is.  But he also follows them up with as actions that match his words.  I wish the people in S.C. would send him home for a while.  Have him hang a shingle and actually work for a living.  Pay the taxes he wants to put upon the people he is supposed to protect and serve. Pay his own money, not the tax payer paid for salary for the higher electric service, the higher gas prices and everything else that comes with big government.

Let’s see how living in a world where getting your photo in Newsweek doesn’t put food on the table or heat your home.

Let’s see.
