I’m getting hammered by emails from gun owning friends who say the NRA is cutting a deal with the democrats over disclosures in political advertising.  I haven’t followed it but this is what another friend sent me from Forbes.

Democrats face criticism from customary allies

WASHINGTON — House Democrats face a revolt by traditional allies angered over the special treatment given to the National Rifle Association in legislation requiring tougher disclosure on political advertising by independent groups.

The president of the Alliance for Justice, Nan Aron, called the NRA concession “undemocratic and dangerous” in a letter to leaders of more than 100 member-organizations.

The opposition by liberals left the fate of the legislation in doubt. Democratic aides said the leadership likely would decide on Wednesday whether to continue with plans to seek a vote this week.

Democrats agreed to exempt the NRA from the new disclosure requirements after concluding the gun owners’ group had enough allies in the House to stop the bill.

I hope Wayne and the boys have a plan other than making a deal with the devil.  If not, they are going to get hammered as well.  They should know better. You cannot deal with lefties. They have no morals, no conscience, no ethics. What makes you think they will hold to any agreement.

Have the people in the NRA not been paying attention. THEY are the enemy.  Don’t give the left quarter!
