With friends like this… Diane Feinstein tries to help Obama, into a deeper hole.

Sometimes you can’t make it up. My theory is the old girl and her equally old friends who have screwed this nation in exchange for power are just trying to run out the clock, hoping to hop a plane to their remote desert island where 300 million pissed off citizens can’t find them.

Ask the French, it won’t work.

But her efforts to explain Obama’s lie is classic deflection.  She says what he meant was you could keep your plan until Obamacare kicked in.  Uhhh, no, that is not what he said at all. You could tell by her tone she was knee deep in yet another lie and was mentally checking her flight schedule.  This is a bad thing and she knows it.

SCHIEFFER: The president said in the beginning that one thing was that if you liked the health care program you had, you could keep it. We now know there was debate within the administration before he said that as to whether that was actually a promise that could be kept. Should the president not have made that statement?

FEINSTEIN: Well, as I understand it, you can keep it up to the time — and I hope this is correct, but this is what I’ve been told — up to the time the bill was enacted, and after that, it’s a different story.  That part of it, if true, was never made clear.

This woman denied the NSA was doing anything like what we’ve learned they have been doing. Why?  Well, either she knows and is lying or more likely she is just another halfwit Senator who thinks she knows what she is doing.  Either way, she needs to go. So, get on the plane Diane, take John and Chuckie and Lindsey with you.  You’ve done enough damage with that dimwitted look on your face.

I told a buddy of mine with help like this Obama ought to wrap himself in chains and see how far he can swim….

Jeeezz.

Here is another backtracker.  She is up for reelection in a Red state.

The Republicans ought to make them vote for it on a party line, just vote “present and see if Reid can get fifty- one votes for it.

Landrieu, who is up for reelection in 2014, isn’t exactly running away from the law she voted to pass in 2010. But her acknowledgement of the law’s problematic implementation is significant.

Trouble is back in 2010 when the HHS put in the new regulations the Republicans offered a bill to stop exactly what is happening now.  She voted against it, along with all the other democrats.  NOW she gives a shit?  Could it be that pesky reelection coming up, not her sense of morality or shame?

I don’t see an “I’m sorry, I screwed up!” moment here.
