We read this over and over. Nobody comments on it, nobody recognizes the danger of allowing a “protected” group to act out. GWB started the protection because he worried after 9/11 that citizens would hold Muslims accountable- not the terrorists inside Islam that did it. That has morphed through Obama into a real protected status for very dangerous people inside the country that influence the government, in one case by removing Islamic terrorism from any manuals or training federal law enforcement gets. ( I know, dangerously dumb- but that’s Obama’s manner.)
What happens if it continues? Ask Europe in general and in this case Sweden in particular.
- In Sweden, comments that object to sexual violence against women in the Quran are prosecuted, but calling homosexuality a “virus” is fine.
- Antisemitism has become so socially acceptable in Sweden that anti-Semites can get away with anything, and no one even notices, as Nima Gholam Ali Pour reports.
- One of Sweden’s main news outlets, in fact, described anti-Semitism as simply a different opinion. Clearly, in the eyes of Swedish authorities, neither homosexuals nor Jews count for much.
- Swedish authorities also give large sums of money to organizations that advocate violence and invite hate preachers who support terrorist organizations such as ISIS. One of the speakers SFM hired was Michael Skråmo, who has publicly called on his fellow Muslims to join ISIS and has appeared in propaganda videos, posing with assault rifles alongside his small children.
Are some individuals receiving preferential treatment under Sweden’s “hate speech” laws? It seems that way.
Under the Swedish Penal Code, a person can be held responsible for incitement if a statement or representation made “threatens or disrespects an ethnic group or other such group of persons with regards to race, color, national or ethnic origin, religious belief or sexual orientation”.
In 2015, the imam at Halmstad mosque, Abu Muadh, said that homosexuality was a “virus” from which parents were obliged to protect their children.
The Swedish Federation for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer Rights (RFSL) filed a legal complaint in October 2015. “[M]any people are listening [to the imam] and there is a risk that the opinions and other expressions of homophobia will spread among believers, as they attach great importance to their representatives’ words”, said Ulrika Westerlund, chairman of RFSL.
The Swedish legal establishment however, seemed entirely unconcerned; the imam was not prosecuted.
“[F]or something to be incitement, it needs to reach a certain level and in this context, the assessment is that this statement does not reach that level”, said Martin Inglund, acting investigation officer at Halmstad police. He added that an assessment had been made based on freedom of religion, as well as the European Convention on Human Rights. It took the police only one week to make the decision not to prosecute the imam.
“It is a strange decision, said Jonnié Jonsson, chairman of RFSL Halland, “I do not think anyone has the right to violate other people in the name of religion”.
What puzzles me, especially after the Pulse club shooting by an ISIS terrorist AND the multitude of examples published by Iran and ISIS on how they deal with gays, that the LGBT community aren’t great supporters of Trump. He actually stated openly his goal is to provide protection to the gay community by reducing the number of people coming into our nation that may have murderous opinions about homosexuality. Where is their common sense?
If I were gay, I’d be sending money and notes of thanks to Trump if he can prevent even one bad guy from getting inside the country and attacks gays. It will happen again. Maybe not as big as Pulse, but certainly with one on one attacks, like this one that was ignored by the MSM when it happened.
For two bloody months, an armed jihadist serial killer ran loose across the country. At least four innocent men died this spring and summer as acts of “vengeance” on behalf of aggrieved Muslims, the self-confessed murderer has now proclaimed. Have you heard about this horror? Probably not.
The usual suspects who decry hate crimes and gun violence haven’t uttered a peep. Why? Like O.J.’s glove: If the narrative don’t fit, you must acquit. The admitted killer will be cast as just another “lone wolf” whose familiar grievances and bloodthirsty Islamic invocations mean nothing.
I say: Enough with the whitewashing. Meet Ali Muhammad Brown. His homicidal Islamic terror spree took him from coast to coast. The 29-year-old career thug admitted to killing Leroy Henderson in Seattle in April; Ahmed Said and Dwone Anderson-Young in Seattle on June 1; and college student Brendan Tevlin, 19, in Essex County, New Jersey, on June 25. Tevlin was gunned down in his family Jeep on his way home from a friend’s house. Ballistics and other evidence linked all the victims to Muhammad Brown. Police apprehended him last month hiding in an encampment near the Watchung Mountains of West Orange, New Jersey.
While he was on the run, he disguised himself in a Muslim keffiyeh. He carried a notebook with jihadist scribblings and advice on evading detection. I obtained the latest charging documents filed in Washington state, which detail the defiant domestic terrorist’s motives.
Brown also said he targeted men who he thought were gay because 1- they were gay. 2. they did not leave behind families…because they were gay. (I know Islamic thinking.)
Point is, it has been happening and it will happen again because Islam is intolerant of gay behavior. Bringing people here that are inherently intolerant of gays is dangerous to gays. Jeezz…. it’s math; 1+1= dead people!
Europe, which prides itself on being extremely tolerant is creating an inevitable collision between two sets of government proclaimed protected groups. Like most socialists, they just can’t do the math concerning human behavior. And the gay community in Europe, and here, will suffer.
