I see this report about the “sexual advances” by Judge Roy Moore some forty years ago, authored by the Washington Post, and I’m struck by how dumb those in charge, and worried about their power, think we are!
It’s over…O-V-E-R!! We know now. We know they lie and cheat and steal and compromise and do whatever they can to keep power. Mueller knows it- because he is part of it, everybody in Washington knows it, the media- on both sides- knows it (and hides it) and America knows it.
The Fusion GPS fake dossier, paid for by the Hillary campaign and the Russians is going to melt through DC like a radioactive core in a runaway power plant! Because of that, the cover has been ripped off and expect for the diehard CNN types, everybody now knows those in power will do anything to keep it.
Here, we have the Washington Post managing to go a state and find four women, claiming without help, that says forty years ago Moore was grabby. I’ve spent time in Alabama for years. There is no way a Yankee reporter from the Washington Post, the center of the swamp, would be able to land in a state he probably couldn’t pick out on a map of the country and have Southern men or women spill their generation old secrets and gossip. It took me ten years to be “accepted” as one of them, and all I was doing was hunting and camping! A squirrelly arrogant reporter who HATES everything that Alabama stands for cannot find this story without a lot of help. Mark Levin asks the obvious questions.
Mark asked his audience: How did the WaPo know there were four women, who they were, and how to contact them?… A Washington Post reporter just happens to be in Alabama talking to Roy Moore supporters… And he happens to hear what no one has reported in 38 years, no political opponents – No one… That Roy Moore, 38 years ago, made advances to teenage girls. Four of them. Now, the four girls do not know each other, they have never met. Yet the person who the Post reporter happened to run into and speak to, the person who supposedly told the reporter the story about the four girls, happened to know all four girls and how to contact them?
Trump’s unlikely victory has exposed the generations long corruption that is DC. They are getting sloppy and desperate because their time at the federal trough, eating the taxpayer’s money like fat pigs, is over. The establishment is so desperate they banded together to try and unseat several candidates that threatens their way of life. One of them was Trump- and they failed. Another is Roy Moore, a true firebrand of a human, who has several ethical standards that will not fit in the world of McConnell and Graham and McCain.
The story is bogus. The fact the Post conflated stories so make Moore look worse under today’s standards shows they are working with thin gruel. Back in 1979 the Alabama culture was different than today. A man dating a 19yr old woman was not unusual. If the family approved it was okay. So even if Moore did date a younger woman, then so what? Especially if the “dates” were a couple of kisses and handshake. However, the Post is trying to lump in Moore with Weinstein, et al by clumping the normal dates with the one accusation. Now we find that the women involved- claimed as being non-partisan, were in fact supporters of the other side, or maybe a little unhinged?
But does that matter? Nope, just like a play with scene one then two then three, the Republicans, who do not want Moore, are spewing their lines and hitting their marks. Now the Senate is pulling their money out of his race, money they didn’t want to spend anyway. And remember, this is over ACCUSATIONS from 40yrs ago. Some vague accusation now brought up.
Some Senate Republicans have encouraged Mr. Strange — who lost to Mr. Moore in a bitterly contested Republican runoff election in September — to run as a write-in candidate, an option Mr. Strange is considering, according to Republicans who have spoken with him. But some Republicans believe he would do little more than play spoiler, ensuring either that Mr. Moore is elected by taking votes Mr. Jones would otherwise get or that the Democrat wins by siphoning support from Mr. Moore among Republicans seeking a palatable third option.
Mr. McConnell and Senator Cory Gardner of Colorado, the chairman of the National Republican Senatorial Committee, spoke with Mr. Strange about the prospect immediately after the Moore news broke on Thursday, according to Republicans familiar with the conversation. And Senator Lisa Murkowski of Alaska, who won re-election in 2010 as a write-in candidate, was planning to discuss logistics with Mr. Strange this weekend.
Asked Friday if he thought Mr. Strange should run as a write-in candidate, Mr. McConnell said only that “you’d have to ask Luther what his intentions are, given this development.”
John McCain is screaming the mere accusation is enough. However, if he could remember back in 2008 he was accused of screwing a lobbyist. Yet, HE didn’t quit….so…?
Also, remember it was McCain who sent an aide to Europe to get the false dossier and then gave it to Comey to “force” Comey to use it as evidence- which is now the suspected linchpin to Mueller’s investigation. Soooo…. what is that old saying “What a tangled web we weave, when first we practice to deceive. ”
This is a game. It’s a game run by people who will follow the progressive mantra “The end justifies the means.” in order to stay in power. What they do not want is a loose cannon like Moore, a man known to demand ethical boundaries, anywhere near their little playhouse. He is a man with a match and they don’t want it burned down.
If I were in Alabama now, I would vote for Moore- twice! Just to make sure the man with the match will end up inside McConnell’s playhouse. Then see what happens.
